Crypto Sigils NFT — Proof of Authorship

Crypto Sigils

Today I sold my first piece of the Crypto Sigils collection on Opensea.

This happened even if OpenSea still didn’t verify my account after 8 days from my approval request.

I was quite skeptic about the possibility to sell something without a verified account and collection. But still, if someone decides to investigate about my social accounts and posts will discover easily that I am the legitimate author of the artworks. Of course, not many people have time and interest to do so.

To help the possible buyers / investors to verify my authorship, I will give further proof here.

This post on my IG account (I have a link to my Opensea on my IG bio) shows the static picture I used to create one of my Crypto Sigils. It’s also a quite old post.

The related Sigil is on Opensea now but, of course, I edited and animated that to make it unique and unpublished previously on any platform.

I could go on forever providing proofs of authorship, but you may still argue: can you prove that the original, starting picture, is really yours? This leads to an infinite chain of proofs to give, making impossible for the author itself to 100% certify the originality.

But the real problem is that, having the Opensea’s account verification will still be perceived as more trustworthy than the direct author’s proof. So now I am still waiting for that and I hope that it will come next week.

I will keep providing proofs and explanations of my Sigils here, so that collectors and buyers will have the full background of my artworks.
